Sharon Smith brings over 16 years of experience as a registered nurse to her role as the founder of Red Light & More. Her journey in holistic wellness began in 2017 when she discovered the transformative benefits of red light therapy.

With a keen understanding of the healthcare industry, Sharon recognized a growing need for alternative, non-invasive therapies in her community. Inspired by her personal experience with red light therapy and driven by a passion to help others, she took a bold step into entrepreneurship.

In 2018, Sharon partnered to establish Red Light & Beyond, a new wellness-focused business in Honolulu. Building on her vision for growth and innovation in the health and beauty industry, she expanded beyond traditional tanning services to include red light therapy and other cutting-edge wellness treatments.

As Sharon’s vision for holistic healing continued to evolve, she recognized the need for a fresh approach to meet the growing needs of her clients. In 2024, this led to an exciting transformation of the business, rebranding to Red Light & More. This transition reflects not only the comprehensive range of wellness services now offered but also Sharon’s individual commitment to her clients’ well-being.  

As a healthcare professional and wellness enthusiast, Sharon combines her medical knowledge with a holistic perspective, offering clients a unique blend of expertise. Her approach is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to effective, non-invasive therapies that promote overall well-being.

When she’s not helping clients on their wellness journey, Sharon enjoys the tranquility of her home in beautiful Hawaii Kai, where she resides with her husband and mother. Her personal connection to the islands infuses Red Light & More with the warm, welcoming spirit of aloha.
